Late Season exploring
I can't say enough good things about this tour and Andrej and Barbara were so accomodating. We were there late in the season and were concerned that they would not take us or be shutting down for the season. Well we were so wrong, it ended up just being the 2 of us (my husband and I) but because it was late in the season they accomodated us with such kindness. This tour had a bit of everything, history, fun, relaxation and invigoration. The office was a little hard to find, but it is a small old town, so it doesn't take long if you miss it the first time. Once we got there Barbara and Andrej were so wonderful, we filled out our paperwork and off we went, part of the road was closed so we took an adventurous trip in the car to where the scooters were. Once we go there Andrej was very clear with the intstructions we got to take a spin around town to make sure we were comfortable on the scooters and off we went up the hill! We got to see a beautiful scenery, some great hilltop towns. Andrej introduced us to a wonderful lady that owned a truffle shop and loved to talk about hunting for truffles with her dogs. We then stopped at the next town for a nice relaxing lunch with the best view, then to the end where we met the honey guy, he didn't speak any english, but he and my husband got along great and he was more then happy to keep pouring my husband the very yummy Honey Grappa, while I shopped his soaps and lotions. I bought some lotion that I am almost out of, so we may have to go back. We were then dropped off to spend some time walking around Motovun. This was such an enjoyable day and Andrej and Barbara are great hosts, tour guides and all around good people. We would highly recommend this even from my husband who is an Avid motorcycle rider.

A wonderful half day-trip!
Andrej and Barbara were such nice & great hosts! Unfortunately the weather forecast for our booked date was so bad that we spontaneously had to change the trip from full day to a half day-trip. That wasn't a problem at all and very uncomplicated - thanks to Barbara. We were driving through a beautiful scenery and had an awesome day. We would highly recommend this to get to know the area around Motovun and learn about the history of the places!
