Full of rubbish both in and out of the water. and a strong smell of dog poo. no sunbeds. water very shallow.

No Sand Sandy beach
When coming to Medulin I highly recommend you pick up a lounge mat from one of the many vendors, a big one is 100kuna and totally worth it. The beaches here are very stoney and rocky. A towel will not be comfortable to lie on. I also recommend sea shoes if you are going into the sea as the rocks and stones are all over.

Shallow and murky water
On our first day in the city, my girlfriend and I took a look at sandy Beach, but we were clearly not impressed. Shallow and murky waters, sand rather dirty and darkish, lots of people not maintaining any distance despite covid-19... Luckily we venture a bit further and found a Rocky beach with nice clear waters. There are lots of nicer beaches than sandy beach, so unless you have small children, don't bother coming.
