A really nice cave

This cave has just been opened recently. It is a cave 20 to 60 meters below and it has 12 million years old stalagmiti and stalagtiti. Our kids loved visiting the cave. It is not a big cave. The visit takes 30 to 60 minutes. You get a guide and she gives a nice presentation.

Interesting cave, the kids loved it!
The cave is a great size for such a tour, not too big, but still interesting to see, and a very welcome environment in the heat of summer. Even the small forest around the cave feels refreshing, but the cooler 14 degree cave air felt perfect. You don't need to have any special equipment or shoes. I was in flip-flops and was fine, as there is a nice path in the cave. Bring a light sweater or hoodie, but most of the people on the tour were dressed in light, summer clothes and were fine. The tour guide, Tajana, was great! Super enthusiastic, friendly and informative. There is a little cafe where you can get some refreshments (drinks, ice cream), there are not many souvenirs, but you can get postcards. There is a little playground and a relatively large, covered sitting area with tables and benches. If you are exploring this area, this is a great spot to check out and takes about 1-2 hours. The tickets were 50 HRK per adult, 25 HRK for kids 6 and up. It is not accessible for the disabled. To enter the cave, you have to go down a short, but steep, step ladder. Our kids (6 & 8) managed it without any problems.

    Very good experience
I visited this cave with my familym today. My children are 4 and 6 years old and they really loved it!! The girl at the reception/bar was very polite and helpful. We had to wait 15 minutes for the tour which lasted 40 minutes. The tour guide was speaking good English and German. She gave many interesting informations about the cave. We really enjoyed it. After the tour we had a very good wine tasting because there is wine aging in the cave. The temperature is perfect (14 degrees). We will go back to the cave during our next visit to Croatia! We really recommend Mramornica cave!?
