    Amazing experience at Stancija Kumparička
Wow-what an experience! I came here on advise of one of my business partners in search of great cheese. Did not know what to expect. I was welcomed by super friendly Aleš and Igor, the duo of the Stancija Kumparička creamery. It is a beautiful quiet farm that makes exclusively non-pasteurized goat cheese. Aleš took me for a tour describing the entire process of making a non-pasteurized goat cheese. It is basically a super clean process of making cheese that is not heated or processed in any other way. The result is crunchy, smoothly textured cheese with slight aroma of Istrian grasses, representing what goats eat. Even if you are not a cheese conousier (and I am certainly not) you would feel encouraged to write or say something about the cheese. The cheese tasting was outside in the covered summer kitchen, with a glass of Istrian wine and home made bread. Very rustic and very cool. Your friendly and super fun hosts, Aleš and Igor are a friendly bunch and will entertain you. It was raining so it was not possible to do it, but you could experience here taking goats to their pastures, milk them and then create your own cheese. It's a fun experience filled with fun and memories - and of course a lot of great cheese. I would highly recommend this place if you come to Istria.

Excellent goat cheese and dairy products
Very good road signs leading to the place itself, last 600-700 metres unpaved road at times raised in the middle at the times, so for the cars will low clearance I would thread lightly. It is all nice and rural, you need to follow signs to the shop, there will be an open bell with sign "ding dong" so you rang on it and someone will let you in. Now things I see as they need to improve on. When you enter "shop" you will be told which products they have, but the one handles items sold do not wear gloves, handles money and food like that. No weight scale in the room, no prices displayed. Do I care, frankly no, because products they sell is extraordinary, so I do not want that this puts you off, just think about cheese you will get.
