Interesting reconstruction - from mine to cultural pearl
Labin has two parts. Old town is on the top of the hill and modern new town near the former mine. When the mine was closed, architect reconstructed the main building (mine entrance) to a small museum and very interesting city library. You can come, read books or use net. They also have toilettes and are open during the week, except on Sunday. Ensemble is very good example of re-use. Parking is near the main entrance.
