Relax, watch the islands and dream...
Perfect place to relax when it is not crowded. Entering the water is not easy in all places, but once you are in, it is like a pool, perfect for swimming. Along the beach there are bars where you can get a coffee, beer etc. The bike path goes to Štinjan and then to Pula, so you even do not need a car to get here.

Lovely promenade and crystal clear sea for essential swimming
We came here on a couple of occasions. The first time was to check out the jet skis but it was late afternoon and they had already run out of fuel for the day and were closing up. So we took a long, relaxing walk down the long promenade heading north and took in the views and crystal clear blue Adriatic sea. On a second occasion I came down to the beach on my own to sample the swimming off the beach. The water was lovely - clear and relatively warm - certainly warmer than the water in our pool at our rented villa. Of course, as in most of Croatia you have the painful stumble across pebbles and rocks to get into the water. Even with beach shoes it can be a painful experience. Oh well..

A great Summer break
Nice, relaxing, even if a bit crowded. The water was fantastic, clear, clean and not that cold. A better spot is a bit further north - Peroj beach, fewer people. Go to Paradiso Beach bar/restaurant. Great place!
