The wines are absolutely beautiful and thanks to the lovely Anna who spoke amazing English! We tasted several wines plus the oil and the grappa and went away with a bottle of the Ottocento white which is one of the most stunning amber wines we’ve tasted here in Istria - an oaky, buttery delicious wine. Mr Clai was enjoying a glass of the same wine on his terrace in the sun, so what better could you ask for really? The wines are superb and this is worth the visit to complete the Istrian wine experience. We can’t wait to visit again

Traditional varietals with a fun twist!
Good wine with friendly cats! Specifically traditional vines with a fun twist, aka orange wines! Friendly staff with good English, beautiful view and the aforementioned good wines. Parking is plentiful and it is about ten to twelve minutes from the actual form of Buje.

Best of the best in Istria
These guys are making wine like nothing else we tasted during our time in Istria. Very small production, so much so that they keep some of their wines in barrel for just a year because otherwise they’d have nowhere to put the next year’s crop! Make sure to taste their orange wine, made with the local malvazija grape. It was my birthday, so we made a reservation and were treated to very laidback wine tasting with the typical cheese and charcuterie of the region. But you should have no problem just walking in.
