A pretty setting around the huge harbor.
We drove our rental car from Porec, free parking in a lot near the old town port. The huge harbor had a couple large yachts, fishing trawlers and tour boats as we walked into the main square. It is dominated by the freestanding 1651 108’ limestone bell tower and its accompanying 14th C Church with its interior beautifully painted in pastels of blue, yellow and peach. We then walked the narrow Gothic/Renaissance street of preserved medieval architecture out to the seafront seeing remains of its fortified walls. A pretty setting around the huge harbor.

    Stunning setting
Simply stunning, the church is right in the main town square. It chimes on the hour. We had the pleasure to watch a concert organised with the stage right in front of the church. Talk about making memories, amazing place.
