This is an amazing church with a monument of Mother Teresa and several religious pictures. Nice to visit.

Beautiful old church looking out to sea
You need to walk up a steep and slippery cobblestone road to get to this church, but it was worth it. It seems to be sitting there looking out to sea and I could see how it got its name. The view from up here is beautiful too. Make sure you go behind the altar to see the special relic. Most people don't know it is there. There are some beautiful frescoes on the walls behind the altar too.

A picturesque church
The church was built at the end of the 19th century on the hill, close to the sea. It was built following the growing importance of the city as the main naval base in the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy. Its construction from alternately white and pink marble from Istrian quarries gives the church very picturesque impression.
