Ideal for a few hours at the beach
We went here twice during our one week trip. It's a very nice place and what was important to us we were able to find a shady spot. There are large pebbles on the beach but all the beach is clean. The water was crystal clear, it was nice to swim in it. Unfortunately the water block was closed on September 15th, no matter how many of us were at the beach.

Good for few hours of beach fun
We arrived in Pula in the afternoon and wanted to enjoy a couple of hours at the beach. Not far from this beach is a Free parking place but due too the beautiful weather it was overloaded. Cars were parked everywhere, eventually we found a spot on 10 minute walk. Right next to the beach is a beach bar with enough sitting spots, you can also rent a bed with parasol. The beach consists of large white pebbles and on the edges of the beach there are rocks and trees. Water shoes are recommended. The water is clear and because of the rocks a good spot for snorkelling. Beach is not large so it was very crowded.

Ouch! Huge rocks!
We visited Pula and were searching for a spot to get wet. - Needless to say, the listings we referred to were wrong - if this is one of the best beaches in the area, I can only imagine the rest of list. The pebbles are in fact huge rounded rocks, making it difficult to stride for adult, not to mention younglings. The beach itself is not too long, nor wide. There is no natural shade, but you can take shelter in the surrounding woods. If there is a wind coming from the sea, there will be waves, making it impossible to swim for younger kids. Overall, it is not too bad - for teenagers and older. The bar above the beach does not seems that bad but I am not sure that is sufficient to keep you on this beach.
