Family-owned olive making farm, very welcoming
Very nice Croatian couple (Italian, Croatian, English spoken, maybe more). We tasted their three different olive oils, and they explained a lot about the process of growing, harvesting and processing the olives. They have three different bottle sizes. Perfect for gifts.

    Interesting family-run operation
Interesting family run olive oil producer, worth a visit but depending on what you want. Pros: - can get a mini tour of their production facilities, and see the process and machinery used to make olive oil, as well as the byproducts (very interesting!) - can get a tour in English, from a member of the family - family run operation, not a big faceless corporation - good if you are driving from Europe and want to stock up on olive oil direct from a producer on your way home Cons: - machinery only runs Oct-Nov, after harvesting and when the olives are pressed for oil - if you're looking for a big shop with lots of olive oil products, this is not the place for you. They sell three different types of olive oil only - They aren't high end olive oil, so you're not going to be buying expensive olive oil for factory prices - the factory is pretty small, and there's no tour of the olive groves themselves. So at most maybe half an hour, so don't take a big detour to get here Do call ahead to see if they can accommodate you, as they accept visitors ad hoc and might not be there if you just turn up.
