Great museum - well worth a visit
The museum is a living and working museum, which is a prime attraction for all family members of all ages. It exhibits a collection of around 18 aircraft, aircraft engines, airfield equipment, uniforms, model aircraft and much more. Among its prime exhibits are a World War II Hawker Hurricane which was recovered from the seabed in 1995 and completely restored to working condition.

Wonderful museum and well worth a visit
This is a superb museum, which is not very large but has not only interesting exhibits but also some very moving related human interest aviation stories. I also never realised that early seaplanes were actually built in Malta, for example. However, be aware that we were charged 20 Euros for a taxi ride from Mdina to Takali which should have been 11 Euros. We discovered that there was board at the car park next to the entrance to Mdina gate that showed the standard taxi fares. Apart from this slight rip off, it was a wonderful visit. You can then catch a 56 bus back to Valetta

Excellent
A highly recommended deviation from the popular route towards Mdina. This wonderfully storied museum is run by delightfully well informed characters, who’s passions clearly shine though on each exhibit. Housed in the various hangers Malta aviation history is well cared for, this little place that can.
