beautiful, peacful and mysterious

I live in Isfahan and I have visited this cathedral so many times but every time I feel it's the first time. this Armanian cathedral with the beautiful paintings on the walls inside the main building and ofcourse the museum is worth it to visit so many times. don't miss it.

Cathedral with a combination of Persian art and Christian art
A unique cathedral mix of Persian art and typical art commonly used inside cathedrals and churches. I liked the combination of this in its architecture and decoration. The paintings inside the cathedral are unique and beautiful. It is a must-see place in Isfahan. The memorial part for the Armenians is heart-touching.

A beautifully decorated Armenian Cathedral in the Jolfa district of Isfahan.
The decorations here are stunning. They are a mixture of European and Middle Eastern art traditions. The scenes show the Last Judgement, the Tower of Babel and a host of other scenes, including some rather gruesome depictions of martyrdom under the Ottomans. It is well worth a visit for anyone wanting to see something different while in Isfahan.
