Amazing

Travelers flock to Sami Village for this cave with a deep blue underground lake. A guide will take you on a 15-minute boat ride through the caverns, feeding you snippets of geological and historical information. A caved-in section exposes the lake to the elements—visit mid-afternoon when the crystal-clear waters reflect the light with mesmerizing patterns, filling the cave with a magical, dreamlike glow. Tours that include both Melissani Cave and Drogarati Cave on the itinerary are a great way to experience both in one day. If you’re traveling there on your own, get in early before the coaches arrive. – Tripadvisor

    Melissani cave lake
Visited as part of a guided tour from cruise ship. Many visitors and line down to the cave gets longer in the afternoon. You get a 15 min boat ride around the small underground lake with very clear water.

Beautiful limestone cave, with a sunlight lake!
An amazing experience, the Melisssani lake is a geological phenomenon. It is truly breath taking when the suns rays shines through on the lake and brings out a brilliant turquoise blue colour of the water. You can purchase a combined ticket to visit the Drogarati Caves at 10 euros. There is a lovely little gift shop and Café near the entrance which was very handy as we stocked up on snacks and drinks for our children as we queued. The Queues were very long but fast moving. The only real drawback was the fact that the actual tour last no longer than a few minutes. Our guide however was helpful and friendly, he offered to take group pictures for us (without the expectation of tips) and also briefly spoke about the history of the cave. He even sang a song which added to the charm! The whole experience however was rushed as the timeslots are very short. Nevertheless I would still highly recommend!
