It's not my favourite beach in Zante. Full of bars, cafes, shops. The sand is dark, the water is quite clean and clear. We rent an umbrella and 2 beds for 5 euros. It's quite and not too crowded this year in August. We were sleeping in Laganas so this was the closest beach, less than one km walking. Better the left side of the beach to spend a day or a few hours.

A nice, shallow beach with blue-green waters
One of the most popular beaches of Zakynthos, Laganas still remains a tourist attraction. It was probably the most crowded beaches we visited and had a nice swim there. There are plenty of beach bars and sunbeds with umbrellas; however, you may have a hard time trying to set up your own umbrella or beach tent, as most of the beach seems to be owned by the beach bars.

Good for if you have children!
Ideal beach if you have children as the water is usually shallow and the waves seem calm. Laganas beach is a long beach so plenty of room to enjoy your own space. The only downfall to this beach is that it’s quite dirty with fag buds and rubbish. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment around the beach.
