Fascinating
We visited this place as part of our tour with Lygia agency. It has an amazing collection of old artefacts and embroidery. It’s run by an enthusiastic guy who collects the items from around the island. It is where two families once lived in caves. Really interesting.

A must do!
Although the museum has many complementing reviews already, it’s still worth to emphasise what a great experience it was- a private tour by an owner of a uniquely kept home telling the story of artisans behind the local embroidery. Even our hard- to-impress teenager was quite touched by the experience. The museum, its house pet and the charming town its in are the must do’s of you are on the island...

Well worth the time
Visited the museum and we were surprised and delighted at what we found. The island is a very laid back and relaxed place and there are not many places to visit inland. But this was a gem. Very cheap at just 3euros each. Takes a round an hour. Great history , and family members still involved to explain everything and show you around. We loved our visit and would recommend it.
