It's a hayrack!

The hay rack wasn't open during our visit, so we pretty much just drove by, saw it, and left. I'm sure it's more fun in the spring and summer.

Great to see them Preserved for the Future
Not strictly generic to Slovenia but still a good example of the style and well preserved and is similar to Swiss & Austrian variants. Was crowded with a large school group learning the history of the structure and enjoying a picnic lunch. Worth a quick stop if passing by !

easy to visit
If you have your own transportaton it's easy to visit as it is not far from Postojna. Nice stop for a few photographs and to learn how the hayraks are used in Slovenia.
