First time back since new ownership. The guided tours are still nice, Kathy and Norm our guides were very nice and knowledgeable. The authentic feel is gone with modern buildings going up on the property that the new owners are building. We did everything available to us but the theater and it only took 3 hours. Not worth making it more than a day trip unless there’s other things you have lined up to do. Shops didn’t have much but were nice. Restaurant was decent and people were very nice but a bit pricey. Used to be much better.

    No longer authentic
Jut not the same anymore. Kathy who was our tour guide was amazing and the tours are still great but with new ownership they ruined the shops. The merchantile store right when u walk in used to be full of so much items to buy upstairs and down stairs now it’s just downstairs and it’s practically bare. The shop that formally sold cheese and meat was great! Now they took away the counter with the cheese not a big selection. The fudgery/soda ice cream shop used to give u that old time soda shop used to have tons of candy and now it’s modernized with a very small selection of items. The restaurant staff is very friendly but the food was just ok. It’s lost it’s family style atmosphere. It had something that was authentic about it to make u feel like it was older to kinda fit in with the farm tour now it was to modernized and downgraded. Really needs to bring back the unique aspect of it or it won’t be around for much longer which is heart breaking used to love Amish acres. Hopefully they figure it out soon
