Waukegan's Oldest/Newest Brewery

Stopped here on a Thursday night to try some of their brews after hearing of friends that visited. It was a little hard to find (wish there were better markings on the outside of the building), but it was worth the effort. We had samples of all of their current offerings and took home a howler of the Nasty Squirrel. Love supporting local business and glad to see a small brewery open up in the area.

    Best Tap room ever!
Being originally from Waukegan and still living in the area, this is one of it's highlights! The place is inconveniently located by has a charm of it's own. The staff is great, not only are they attentive but they have a great knowledge of the products that they sell and they are always ready to allow you to taste what is on tap as to assist you in making a decision. The owners Larry and Talea Bloom are very nice and very quick with a hello, how are you, and have you been here before? They make their customers feel at home. Also they serve bowls of the greatest pretzels ever! The decor makes you feel young again as if you were 17 and hanging out at a friends house of whose parents had left for the night and left you more beer then you would ever know what to do with, also there choice in music is great even if it is Pandora it tends to suit the mood that you would be in for that particular tap room. I highly recommend this establishment and I would consider this place to be one of the jewels in Waukegan.

    VERY good beer!
Friendly, home-like tap room, excellent fresh beers. They have movie nights, music, and small pizzas for sale if you are hungry, or bring your own food. Very laid back, fun! I have stopped in for a beer after work, or stayed for hours some times.
