Lots of Fun
We were in the area and looking for something fun to do and decided on Zanies Comedy Club in Rosemont. We never heard of the comics that performed on the night we visited, but they were hilarious. Yes, there is a two drink minimum, but that is not a negative. A place exists to make money and it makes sense to promote a food or drink minimum to help pay the bills. We are out to have fun and would buy drinks anyways. My bet is that the rent is not cheap in this entertainment district that is similar to Universal City Walk or Disney Pleasure Island. The comedy club is intimate with good sightlines from any seat from what i could tell. We ll definitely be back.

Nice small venue - ask for free tickets! As usual, drinks/food prices are high
Sign up with your email and this location will send you lots of free tickets. Of course, you have to buy 2 food/drink items per person at $6 to $12 each but at least no admission fee. Comedian vary greatly by talent - last night's show had 4 acts and most were okay, the WGN guy was pretty funny.

Food sucks. Comedy is hit or miss
Been here multiple times. Comedy acts range from mediocre to pretty good. 2 items purchase required from the menu. Don't order the hummus. Menu says it'll be served with flatbread, instead you get a stale flour tortilla. And it typical for hummus to be served with veggies but at least put some thought into that. Its not supposed to be served with cherry tomatoes and yes, cucumbers are fine but they're supposed be cut as spears, not circles.
