Educational and Wild!
I am partial to this Center as I have volunteered here on and off for over 10 years. It's where I learned SO MUCH about native species of flora and fauna, for free! I have kept many wonderful friendships through the years of volunteering here. Willowbrook rehabilitates injured and orphaned native wildlife and releases them back to the wild when recovered or fully grown. A great place. A great experience. If you have one morning or afternoon a week to spare I highly recommend that you look into volunteering here. You'll be so glad you did!

FAVORITE PLACE.
I absolutely LOVE this place. I go as often as I can with friends, family or by myself. I enjoy just walking around (inside and out) and looking at and becoming familiar with the animals. There is just something about this place that brings me peace. It is so quaint. I love it when I can show it to a new child (took my nieces and nephews there tons of times and now they bring their own children and nieces and nephews). They recommend $1 donation per individual. Believe me, it is well worth it. They also appreciate other donations (cleaning products or anything to help with caring for the injured animals). So, go on....treat yourself and get in touch with nature. You will love it.

Great day trip for kids to see local wildlife.
We love taking our kids and grandkids to see local wildlife here. There is a very nice walk around a lake where you can view footprints of different animals, and inside, you can see animals recuperating from various accidents or sicknesses. We once brought an injured fox, who was struck by a motorcycle here and it was well enough to be released in a week. Nice enclosure areas with animals that will never be able to be released.
