"Trailriding in a Beautiful Setting"

White Pines Ranch is primarily a "Dude Ranch for Kids". The camp offers Outdoor Education Programs involving Horseback Riding as well as the care of horses & Tack depending on the length of the Program. 45 minute Trail Rides can also be arranged and that's why I and fellow members of an Outdoor Women's group spending the weekend in the area did here. Safety is #1 at White Pines Ranch and before we ever got on our horse we were required to watch a video that covered the do's and don't about horseback riding. Riders are required to wear helmets and all rides are guided. The trail ride was relaxing & the guides happily took our photos with "our" horses. The minimum age to ride is 7. Younger kids can go on a 15 minute pony ride. Longer trail rides can also be arranged.

Wonderful Weekend
We just returned from our weekend camp at White Pines Ranch . I can not say enough about how warm and welcoming the staff was to all our campers . They were helpful , kind and caring during our entire stay. We had a slight mishap and Jess the manager could not have been more helpful . The food was great - much much better then the other camps we have attended. Cabins were clean and even better air conditioned ! Would highly recommend.

Fun Camping
The time spent here was well praised by some kids while older ones found it a bit slow paced.A well organized overnight camp with bunkbeds,buffet,rides and activities.One negative aspect is having unhealthy horses riding instead of healing - this can't be overlooked.Also, not all kids enjoy equally a nice ride & picture time.There is a gift shop,$16 a shirt and $1 ice cream bars.
