Great place for wine and friends
A retail shop with the ambiance and offerings of a winery. Come do wine tasting in Galesburg. We have samples available every day -- $1.00 per taste (each flavor), up to 5 per person ($5). We market with care and integrity. We attempt to stock our shelves with a wide variety of wines that will appeal to both novices and aficionados. We typically have between 150 to 200 different selections including fine wines and craft beers. Oh, did I mention, we have over 200 selections UNDER $20! You will find that our wines are more than just thirst quenching; they tease, provoke, challenge, mystify and finally, captivate the drinker.You will be pleasantly surprised at our low prices, our great customer service and our cozy ambiance. Vintages offers one of the most economical nights out...grab a bottle to share, kick back at our great vintage tables for a fun night with friends at off-the-shelf prices instead of paying restaurant or bar prices!

restored and repurposed
One of the many historic buildings in Galesburg that has been restored and repurposed. Vintage's building was a locally owned shoe store for many years and the cubicles that once displayed shoes now displays the 200 different kinds of wine and beer (priced under $20) that are available for purchase. Julie, the owner is very knowledgable about wine and helpful to all when they have questions or want suggestions for a kind of wine purchase. Several times during the year she will have "Food and Wine" paring dinners which she prepares and the food is beautifully dispayed and delicious. She also does a beautiful job of preparing gift baskets that she prepares on an individual basis. On Friday evening from5-7 p.m. live music is provided. Always available are the wine tasting.
