I was confused about parking here
I was happy to find this place but I wasn't sure where to park to visit it. The parking area is not marked properly, it is not visible. Actually it seams like parking is on the street along the curve.

Stopped while in Dixon to check out the park.....
My wife and I had come down from Chicago and wanted to check out a number of places in Dixon. We stopped by this park and was certainly glad we did. Very neat how the have the various pieces of equipment there. The plane, the helicopter (coolest display), ambulance, tank and anchor. Interesting on the write up of one of the ways the anchor is used. On top of that, a whopping 3 tons! Very impressive park! Thank-you to all who have served in our armed forces and for your service!

Quick but good.
Spent maybe half hour there due to talking to a man in the little visitors building. Bought granddaughter and son in law a gift in there. The parking is basically right next to the memorial. Nice monuments. Guess they plan to building a museum there.
