Hidden Gem Behind Happy Joe's
Friend and I visited this miniature golf location while we were spending the weekend in the Quad Cities area. Almost didn’t stop here, since we initially couldn’t spot the physical minigolf course, which is tucked behind the Happy Joe’s Pizza. You have to enter the restaurant and pay your entrance fees at the food counter before heading out the back door to the actual course. Once we got outside, we had a better view of this 18-hole course, which is impressively built and maintained. The course has a number of terraformed aspects to it; such as a waterfall, some small streams, some rocky inclines, and even a wooden bridge across a pond. The differences help make each hole fun and somewhat special/unique. Place was also very well maintained and kept nice and clean. Glad that we found the location, since it scored a “hole in one” in our books. Even enjoyed being able to grab a couple bottles of water from the restaurant and spending twenty minutes playing some games in the arcade to cool off afterwards.
