Beautiful winery setting
Since officially opening on July 1st, 2011, the winery has become home to numerous weddings, showers, fundraisers, class reunions, musical performances, and holiday parties. The owners, Wes and Wanda Pitcher want all visitors to “Come as our guests, leave as our friends.” Tuscan Hills Winery provides an old-world Tuscan feel in the heart of Effingham, Illinois. We are particularly focused on offering exceptional quality wines and providing a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for all ages. We are family and pet friendly. All of our wines are made right here at the winery. However, if wine isn’t the drink for you, we also offer a full bar, wine-slushies, and sangrias. We offer wine tastings daily. Tuscan Hills isn’t only about the wine; it’s about the experience.

Sunset tasting session
Really enjoyed our visit here - good wine and the staff was great! They have a tasting special - 5 tastes for $6 and we liked everything we tried. It was hard to decide on only one glass! We took home a few bottles. Also had the margarita pizza which was good - super fast service on a Wednesday evening, hardly anyone else there.

Wine Wow!
I wish we had more time to spend at this winery! We were just passing through on our way to Ohio and my husband wanted to stop. I'm so glad we did! It was only a couple of miles from the highway and had plenty of signs directing us to the winery. The building and grounds were very clean and pleasing to the eye. The server was very friendly and attentive. And all 5 if the wines we tried were delicious. I have NEVER had that happen before at a tasting. I wish we had time to try something from their menu, because it looked wonderful too. If you're in the area, I recommend you stop in.
