Well Worth Stopping
I had seen Tighthead Brewing showing up at quite a few beer festivals over the past few years and was looking for a reason to make my way to Mundelein a check it out. Finally I have to attend a seminar just North in Grayslake a took the opportunity for stop before I headed home. I had the Chilly Water Pale, a Sweet Potato Ale and a Wit along with a couple samples. Sat for a couple of hours with a pair of businessmen from the area, and had a wonderful time with the beer and conversation. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Great beer - good service
My wife and family love this place. We pick up food, and head here for an early dinner with the kids (4 & 5) and play cards for a little while before the crowds come. The beer selection is pretty good, and you can get growlers or cans to go. The only thing that I wish they did was have table service during the busy hours - it gets a bit tough to push through the crowds with full glasses, especially when you're in the back room.
