Love this Beach
This is my favorite beach in Crystal lake. It has a lovely swimming area and is well guarded for safety. There is an island with a bridge to it that you can either walk to or swim to and just rest under a nice gazebo. There is also a raft out in the deep water. on the beach there is a play area with a splash pad and swings, etc. The best part is you can get ice cream from Culvers on the deck. My children and grand child just love this place!

nice place for a bike ride or walk, rent kayaks, fish, etc
Fun to ride my bike here, in the summer watch the boarders at the cable park, rent a kayak, grab a beer at Duke's. Non residents pay for parking, but just 5 bucks for the car. If you bike in, there is no admission. Beach area itself has admission. Everything is cheaper (I think beach is free) if you are a resident. Fishing is catch and release only.

Fun for Kids and Adults
Clean, something to do for everyone. Beach, sand, water features for the younger children, and zip lining for the older kids. If you don't want to bring food, there's Culvers' and a more upscale restaurant by the zip lining; were you can sit and watch them ride the waves while you are having a meal and maybe a glass of wine. It's nice to go and just take a walk,have a cup of coffee or bring the whole family for fun in the sun. Was surprised and happy to have this wonderful nature area so close to home.
