Great Team Building Exercise
As the head coach of a local HS softball team, I'm always looking to boost the cohesiveness of our squad. Since I had visited panic rooms in San Antonio, St Louis, and other cities, I thought "The Panic Room Carbondale" might fit the bill. Our guide, Jeff, certainly didn't disappoint. He made accommodations for a slightly larger than average group and saw that our experience was on par or exceeded any of the larger city's offerings. We hope to see him again next preseason. I totally recommend this attraction. BTW, we escaped "The Haunting" with 8:37 left on the clock.

Escape room fun in Carbondale!
When I travel, I enjoy stopping at escape rooms in all kinds of towns - large, small and everywhere in between. My wife and I have played hundreds of games and it is always fun to compare the good and the bad. My travels took me to Carbondale this weekend to see a concert and of course, while in town, I had to try the local escape room. I spoke with Jeff the owner before I came into town to arrange the games and he was very friendly and knew his stuff about escape rooms. I played the Hauntings and Egypt game. With the hauntings game, I joined up with 5 other folks (a group of brothers and sisters) to try the hardest game. It did not disappoint, lots of fun moments and several friendly scares. We all had a great time outsmarting the ghosts. The puzzles were tricky but solvable. I then got to play the egypt room on my own. Again a lot of fun and a few tricks that I had not seen before. I was quite impressed - Jeff had some innovations I had not seen in rooms in much larger places - and the experience was very customer friendly and geared to making sure you had a good time. You don't have to worry about traveling to a big city to play an escape room adventure - there are very good rooms right in Carbondale. Definitely worth a visit if you like or think you might like an escape room!
