Great ballpark

We came here for a high school scouting event but I would definitely come back to watch a game. Beautiful stadium. Clean and well kept.

Great Venue, Needs Great Events
There's a unique vibe that emerges from the placement of this modern baseball and concert venue at the intersection of education-and-commerce-driven Normal, Illinois and the cornfields in which it sits. Its just a nice place with nice rural vistas, comfortable seating and good concession options. It's also maybe the only place where you can hear, as wife and I did last week, a group of pre-teen kids chant "let's go corn! let's go corn!" which is kind of surreal but definitely funny. That chant would be in reference to the Normal Cornbelters, whom as a matter of civic pride I must heartily endorse but whose level of play has been lackluster whenever I've watched or checked - really, this place needs a more robust rotation of concerts and other events to more consistently draw a happy crowd to its deserving environs.
