Sugar for Sugar Creek Covered Bridge.

We are covered bridge enthusiasts from Vermont. Sugar Creek Covered Bridge is perfectly lovely, in a peaceful setting, and seems to beckon visitors to stay a while. We were sad to see well wishes tagged on interior and remnants of gender reveal confetti on the walkway to the portal. She’s a beauty! Show some respect, please.

    Beautiful Spot
    The bridge is located in Pioneer Park about a 10 minutes drive from Interstate 55. The road to get to the park is paved all the way and there is a little parking lot by the park. You can see the bridge from the parking lot, but there is a little walk to get to it. Also, I used the GPS on my phone to find the bridge, and it took me right to it. It's worth a stop. The area around the bridge is very pretty, and the bridge is well maintained. You can fish in the stream. There was some people doing that when I visited. There are a few picnic tables in the park, if you want to stop and have a picnic.

    Lovely day and a lovely bridge
    We drove from Saint Peters, Mo today to see this lovely covered bridge. It was a lovely day, we took a picnic lunch and sat at one of the two picnic tables in the pavilion. Unfortunately there are no restrooms at the park. We think the bridge is great, just a short walk from the parking lot. We would recommend that people come and see this covered bridge.
