Would visit again.
The location is hard to find if you’re using an app on your phone. The 2nd and 3rd floors are currently being remodeled, so you can’t go upstairs to the actual rooms where Lincoln practiced law. However, there are rooms set up next door to show you how it might have looked. It was worth our stop for the map of the Lincoln areas downtown. It was also neat to know you were in the place where Lincoln once walked to work.

The Visitors Center Should be your first stop when visiting Springfield.
Thank you, Sheila, for all the time you spent with us as you helped planned the best itinerary for the three days we would be in Springfield. We are hoping to return to the city so our grandchildren can visit The Abraham Lincoln Museum, his home, the Illinois State Capitol building, The Dana-Thomas home and also go to Lincoln's New Salem. While at the Visitor's Center you can also view Lincoln's Law Office which is part of the Visitor's Center.
