Nice place for young children
This is a very nice local water park. Ideally for kids 10 and under. Older kids may enjoy it for an hour or so. There are a couple of slides, a lazy river, and a large area for smaller children. There is also a sand area.

"Temporarily" Closed for the past several years
Unfortunately Splash Valley is now going on its 3rd summer without opening. It is not yet officially permanently closed, but it appears to be headed that way. Apparently maintenance problems developed over time (there are many arguments over what went wrong and whether poor decisions were involved). In any case the costs of repair may put any reopening plan out of reach.
