    A Relaxing Hour
There's not much in Ursa. However, if you are just wandering the roads of Western Illinois or a lover of wines, Spirit Knob is a great place to journey to. It has won numerous awards for different vintages. They produce a good variety of dry and sweet wines. The initial wine tasting is free (up to 3). After that, it's a dollar each for additional samplings. The Chambourcin is a very good dry wine. But, they also produce two ports (one red and one white--never knew that there was a white port, until coming here). The place is beautiful as it is tucked away in the middle of farmland.

    Nice wine, nice location
I attended a bridal shower at the winery. Nice selection of wine. Like most local wineries in the Midwest most of the wine was a little sweet for my taste, but I did enjoy the Chardonel. Beautiful location on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River valley. The building and outdoor space is very nice. They do need bigger bathrooms and the upstairs event space is not remotely accessible for people with any mobility issues.
