Saturday tasting
There is no better way to experience wine than right here from the source. After a tasting, you can enjoy a glass or bottle of wine, craft beer or soda, plus local cheeses while browsing the gift shop, quizzing the wino staff, or just relaxing inside or outdoors. Guests may bring a picnic & take advantage of the board games in the tasting room. We love to show our friends the winery and talk about the wine making process. Private tours & tastings are available for large and small groups, ranging from $5 to $15 per person. Sleepy Creek is a great destination to meet friends and socialize. We feature live music by original singers and songwriters, comedy, film festivals, plays & other unique entertainment. Sleepy Creek now hosts a B & W: Its like a Bed and Breakfast, but the only thing we make here is Wine, but there is a full kitchen to make what you want, when you want, and we provide the wine. Stop in to give it a look-it's a great place to have friends and family stay when you "just can't fit them" in your house.

Helpful and friendly staff
Taylor was very helpful and friendly. She gave us a few samples, we like the sweeter wines and she did not disappoint us with the choices. We took a jug of the sangria with us. On the way back past here, days later, we picked up a case of their wines to take home with us. They use some funny names on the wines which makes it a fun experience. And the wines all taste good also.

Wonderful Surprise...Practically in our backyard!
What to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon? How about a ride with friends to a " new" place, Sleepy Creek Vineyards? I had been there years ago when it first opened. I must say, I was not overly impressed. It has been under new ownership, and it is now worthy of repeat visits. This is within 30 minutes where we live. Tops down made for a lovely drive. There were a few cars when we arrived. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised at how attractive the tasting area is. You are given three free samples of wines to try. The young woman was very thorough in describing each of the wines available to sample. There are many tables and chairs in the room. They have a small area that sells all things wine, from coasters to tee shirts. There are picnic tables outside where you can eat, or have your lunch brought to you inside There was a Cuban food truck on the premises Sunday that served some of the best Cuban sandwiches that we have eaten. The grounds are peaceful, the personnel are engaging,and the two resident cats remain indifferent to guests. Special events are held here, often with local musicians. There is something here for everyone. We will be returning for the two day Salt River Art & Music Festival near the end of the month.
