    Pleasant Family Experience
I felt the need to leave a positive review of Six Flags after our visit yesterday. Our group of 10 (3 adults and 7 kids ages 10 to 16) bought day passes online a few weeks prior to our visit. The price was MUCH less than I ever remembered paying for normal day passes which was refreshing! The park opened at 10:30 am yesterday, we arrived at around 10:00 am and parked close to the front gate. The closest that we had ever parked. We never waited in a line to get in. Just walked right up to the gate and got in. As soon as the rides opened, we started knocking off all of the BIG thrill rides with very short wait lines. The longest wait we had all day was about 30 mins for Goliath.....we figured that the crowds would be coming, but they never did. We have never gone on so many big coasters in one day. It was refreshing! Our expectations were low coming into yesterday as we had heard that rides were not all going and that some attractions just weren't happening. The food does cost an awful lot, so we plan ahead and pack a cooler. We get our hands stamped and go to the car to cool off and eat, taking a well needed rest. It is apparent that the park is understaffed. Sad, but this is the case in every business across the country. I pray that people will go back to work and bring back our businesses to the way they were. With this being said, we still enjoyed a tremendous day at this park. They are doing the best that they can with the hand that they have been dealt. Some take aways from the day..............people were friendly and happy to be there. NO issues with unfriendly people. We did experience some line jumpers. Nothing we could do about that, although my kids had wished that I would have done something about it! Also, given that the park is open during this Covid pandemic, they did not have many of their hand sanitizer dispensers filled which was quite frustrating. The majority of dispensers that we tried to use were empty. The majority of the big thrill rides were open and running, giving us a blast of a day at the park. We WILL be back again and hope that we can have another great day as we did yesterday!

A quick review of an opening weekend visit – Sunday April 25, 2021.
As one entered the park there were tents set up for walk through temperature checks. Reservations were required and it appeared that there were capacity limits in play. The park felt fairly empty. Of course, the temperature was 45 degrees that day so that may have also had an impact on the crowd level. Six Flags staff were not enforcing mask requirements and social distancing standards. While the vast majority of people wore masks correctly, about 20% did not. People tended to bunch up in the ride queues as well. Certain rides were loaded every other row, but not all rides. They appeared to sanitize the rides on a frequent basis. At least it seemed that way since each roller coaster was sanitized when I was in line. The seats would be sprayed and then the cars would run empty. Hand sanitizer stations were set up on the main paths, but not at the individual rides. Food lines were not long, but there were a number of closed food outlets. The self-service soda areas were also closed. Flash Pass – I spent an hour in line just to pick up the flash pass. Ugh! Load times seemed to be longer than usual. I am not sure if this was due to the opening weekend, new employees and/or not enough employees. The employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. The Washington Street entrance was closed the day I visited, so double check before you try to use it in the future.
