The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a Catholic shrine that welcomes thousands of pilgrims and visitors each week. The shrine offers devotional spaces and gardens for prayer, a large plaza for celebrations, a chapel for daily Mass and confession, and a gift shop. For the annual celebration of December 12, over 250,000 pilgrims and visitors gather to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Religious experience
We visited the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe while visiting family in Des Plaines, IL. Visiting the shrine was the highlight of my trip to Des Plaines. There is a beautiful chapel, gift shop, cross with the image of the Sacred heart of Jesus, the shrine to the Virgin of Guadalupe and many statuaries and fountains. This is a lovely stop to reflect, pray and enjoy God's splendor. The candles for the alter can be purchased in the gift shop for $2.50 each.

A place for the soul
Years ago my guys took me here at the time my dad was in stage 4 as we walked the different stations I could feel myself feelin able to Handel things better after that dad went into remission for 11 years I try to stop by every so often to offer thanks ?
