Fantastic break from the city
My wife and I decided to visit Sarah's Pony Rides for a Sunday morning horseback ride and had a great experience. I'm a big guy and have ridden for a few years in my past. They had a clydesdale for me to ride that was as sweet as could be. My wife hasn't ridden before, and she also got a horse that wasn't any trouble at all. We went for an hour trail ride in the forest that's connected to the property. The trail guides were very friendly. Overall it was a great experience and we're already talking about going back next weekend since it was so close.

First Time on a Horse!
My wife used to be quite the equestrian growing up, but it had been years since she last had been on a horse. For our anniversary this year I decided to change that, and also dive in myself. We scheduled an hour long trail ride and ventured out to Sarah's Stables. Our trail guides were very friendly and informative, and after a quick training session on the horses, we were off to the trail. The horse they had me on (Dixie) was very sweet and we navigated the trail with ease, despite it being my first time on a horse. After the trail ride, they showed us around the barn where we got to meet all sorts of horses, sheep, goats, and even llamas and alpacas. Overall it was a great experience and both reignited the flames for horseback riding with my wife, and sparked an interest in myself!
