Beautiful day & lots of fun at the NHRA Drag Races!
We flew from Ohio to Joliet to take in the NHRA races at Route 66 Raceway, we go to the NHRA races all across the U.S. This was our first time at Chicago...Great stadium style seating, lots of food vendors with a wide variety of choices, ( more than any other race ), super clean track & grounds, also very clean restrooms & lots of them! We spent two days and enjoyed this very fan friendly facility! If you have never been, GO you will be hooked, If you've been to other track and didn't like it, try Route 66 and be impressed with a great setup to see dragracing!

Burndown at Sundown
Went to Rt 66 this past sat,for burndown at sundown, Parking was great got lucky on our spot. it was neat to walk thru the pits to the grandstand. Had great seats. The only downside was the bathrooms need attention andt the concessions are high. 4 dollars for a bottle of water

Classic Car Show!
I was recently at Rt. 66 to attend the Darcy Classic Car show. I enjoyed the variety of classic cars, the vintage vendor market and the Chicago Brushmasters Auction and booth. This was my second time visiting Rt. 66. Instructions and parking to get into the venue was clear and everything seemed to be ran well and without incident. The only complaint is the food/drinks are pricey, but that is to be expected when you visit any sports venue like this.
