I did not take the farm tour but the shop is lovely. Many things local made. The staff is lovely. Great options for local made stuff. Purchased a gorgeous wrap made there. Its a lovely place to visit!!

Like Nothing Else
Judy and Morgan have created a wonderful, beautiful, and FUN place to visit. They are the kindest hostesses and truly love inviting everyone into their space. The alpacas are so sweet and just a joy to interact with and watch. Follow ROAR on Facebook for all the amazing events offered. I definitely recommend National Alpaca Farm Days and Christmas with the Alpacas. Photo ops with the alpacas and the opportunity learn all about their wool and the process to turn it into yarn. Plus spinning and weaving demonstrations. Painting with the Alpacas may be my favorite, though. It doesn’t get any better than participating in a guided paint while pausing to hand feed an alpaca that has wandered up to the paint table.

Yoga With Alpacas!
Looking for something fun, relaxing, & educational? Come to ROAR for Yoga with Alpacas! Morgan is so passionate about her alpacas & very welcoming to all visitors. The ranch, in beautiful Southern Illinois, is a perfect setting for a yoga class. And, getting to feed the alpacas as they wander around is so much fun! The ranch is on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, so stop somewhere & have a glass after your visit!
