Nice hiking and biking trail through central IL
The Rock Island Trail has recently been expanded well into the city of Peoria and extends NE to Toulon. Most areas of this trail are well kept, but after a rain, bike tend to leave ruts in the trail where gravel is a bit thin. But the flora and fauna along the trail make up for any issues with the trail. Watch for a few ruts and chipmunk holes, and your ride or walk will be very enjoyable! I personally would recommend stopping in Dunlap or Princeville for lunch or dinner - nothing in Wyoming, and what's there is closed frequently. Nice picturesque train station in Wyoming, though.

rock island
This is a wonderful rails to trails bike path. It is relatively flat and easy but with very few cross streets. I tprovides a great view of central illinois
