Our tap room seats 95 people in a cozy environment with a great view of our production brewery and our outside beer garden. Its family friendly atmosphere is enhanced by a playground and outdoor games. It is surrounded by test plots of barley and hops. Enjoy one of our beers from our. We also offer a wide array of sodas, coffee, wines, cold brew coffee, and cider. Feel free to bring your own food or enjoy meals from the delicious food trucks parked right outside of our building.

Total dud, it is not.
This review is written in response to orangebanana763. I have been bringing friends, coworkers, and family to Riggs 2-4 times per month consistently since their opening. Riggs started out great and is only getting better. I’m sorry that orangebanana763 had a bad experience there. As a loyal and happy customer, I feel moved to help explain a few things. The cats live in a storage building (with electricity) behind the business with water and food served regularly by the owners. They enter and exit through a pet door on the east side. For many, these cats are a beloved aspect of Riggs however they are not allowed inside. The fact that many Riggs customers pet, pick up, and embrace these cats has made them very social. I have seen a cat (Dunkles) attempt to sneak in with customers followed by a staff member immediately putting him back outside. I know the veterinarian who advises Matt and Caroline (2 of the 4 co-owners) on their cats. The cats are up to date with vaccinations and were neutered at one of the 2 spay and neuter clinics that the University of Illinois Veterinary Medicine program that were held in the Riggs parking lot. As far as an owner being “highly intoxicated” - I would be very surprised by this. It’s just not that kind of place. The Riggs family is serious about their business. You will see people of all ages enjoying the family atmosphere. Last night I spent time with visiting family. My 4 year old nephew and his parents enjoyed 3 games of Jenga while my wife and I spent time with our newest niece who is only 7 months old. The place was packed! Friendly Atmosphere
People come here to chill out, enjoy a beer with friends in a very relax, unpretentious atmosphere. The beer was not bad but I like Stout or Porter and they didn'r have these. I would go back!
