Opened in 1986, the Prairie Center has become one of the premiere performance venues in the northwest suburban area, hosting local entertainment as well as international touring acts. The intimate 442 seat theatre has exceptional sightlines and outstanding acoustics. The Prairie Center is an ideal venue to see a concert, play or musical.

A Schaumburg Treasure
What a delight to have art, theater, and a little culture so close to home. Whether a play, a musical group, or dancers, the quality of the productions and talent is superb. The theaters size and intimacy lend to the ambiance of the experience. Prices are reasonable and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Free parking. No traffic issues. You have to LOVE this place.

Great Venue for the Arts!
The Grounds are beautiful, a hot spot for wedding photos in the area. Swans all summer, concerts outdoors in the summer too. The theater is a small venue with great sound, and wonderful talent. We have never been disappointed. Even the Youth Guild that puts on well known plays is AWESOME. These young people work very hard, have beautiful voices, can dance and act. You would never know they were not professional actors.
