Pomona Natural Bridge, Illinois, United States
4.5 (38 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Pomona Hiking Trails
If in the area, great
It's a very short hike. Pretty cool natural bridge! It's at the very end of the road. Little Grand canyon trail in about 3-5 miles away. And Cedar Lake trail head. So good to combine these shirt hikes

Pomona Natural Bridge
The bridge itself cannot be seen from the road or the parking lot, you have to drive down a sketchy road for a couple of miles, park, then hike for about ten minutes but it really isn't too bad. If you are handicapped, this may not be for you. The bridge is quite scenic and nice to see. The trail is a loop trail but when I was there there was a sharp drop off so I turned around and went out the way I came in. No charge.

worth the drive down the gravel road
This little goodie will take you at least 10 minutes off the paved road to reach but then is a very short hike in lovely scenic woods to an impressive natural feature: we are talking like 75 feet long, not just a little piece of rock. This is 30-45 minutes well spent.
