Great Place for Antiquing!
We live an hour away and have antiqued our way through central Illinois, so after researching online, we drove to Pocahontas. (We stopped at a new antique place on our way in Worden - the Chirping Frog. I also recommend that place!) Pocahontas Antiques not only has a great selection of antiques and collectibles, but it is decorated so quaintly and uniquely! We spoke to the owner, and it was obvious how much she loved this store - and the town and its' people! She couldn't say enough nice things about Pocahontas, and she and her husband were hoping to remodel some other places as well. We will definitely be going back to shop there again, and to eat at the Powhaten, and to have a drink at the Copper Dock Winery! We discovered that this town may be "small" in size but is big on hospitality and great places to visit!! Can't wait to go back!

Nice Antique Shop
We enjoyed stopping. We found the store had a large and varied selection of antiques. And the clerk at the front counter was really helpful and pleasant.

Lots of Stuff
Most of the antique shops in Pocahontas are crowded and a little rough around the edges, but that's what a lot of antique hunters really enjoy. We found a few treasures. Some of the pricing is on point and some is way too high. That's true of most places.
