Pickwick is Worth the Trip
This is by far one of the best theaters I’ve ever visited. Came to see Its a Wonderful Life with my whole family and to buy snacks for the whole gang was very affordable. The seats were super comfortable and the staff was friendly and attentive... definitely coming back anything I’m in town!

Pickwick is Worth the Trip

Old theater in downtown Park Ridge, Illinois.
This is one of our favorite old theater houses still standing in the Chicago Area. It was saved from the wrecking ball some years ago. My wife and I go there to see recent movies, but also to see the occasional old classics that are often shown. Prices are good, and it's 12 minutes from home. After words, there are several restaurants within a block or so, and an ice cream parlor.. Whole Foods is around the corner. My wife and I occasionally go see a show, stop for something to eat, or an ice cream, and food shop. All within walking distance. Nice, nostalgic area.
