White squirrels not easy to find
First of all this is a nice simple city park. We had a picnic at a shelter. People were wandering around looking for white squirrels with no luck. We gave up and enjoyed the perfect October day. After a while we spotted a single white squirrel scampering high in a walnut tree. A couple drove over from Indy - they had been looking for awhile. They shared in our find. Later we saw a second white squirrel. Grey squirrels are a plenty.

No White Squirrels!
We visited the park specifically to see and photograph the white squirrels. We arrived early in the morning, spent several hours, and saw only a couple of gray squirrels. We then traveled to Miller's Grove, drove around town, and ended up back at the city park. Spent many hours and saw no white squirrels! There was a community bike ride the day we were there; maybe the squirrels were hiding.

Park is nice
The Olney park is nice except for the excessive birds/droppings in the covered eating areas. Uncovered seating area is limited and many tables were not in shaded areas during the day (hot temperatures). The park was fairly busy during the weekday afternoon. Everyone was friendly (which is so NICE!) and keeping social distance for the most part.
