Going downhill fast
The Northwoods mall has a few good stores left, but Macys closing anouncement as well as the clientel that hang out at the mall, one has to be choosy about the time of day to do shopping. I dont feel safe when I come here after dark, especially on the weekends.

I have NEVER had a problem at Northwoods Mall!
The Northwoods Mall is decent place for shopping. Sometimes, unsupervised teens hang out there, which caused some people to question the mall. Still, I would prefer to see teens hanging out in a mall rather than gang banging, selling drugs, and in the streets up to no good. I have lived in Miami, Florida, so I am aware of very nice shopping locations, but I have shopped at the Northwoods Mall many times and had very pleasant experiences. Every year, my church and my sorority ring the Salvation Army bells so we have interacted with kind people of all ages there. The Smo-King Pit Restaurant has delicious food and friendly service every time. I will continue to shop, eat, sit, and drink Gloria Jean coffee in Northwoods Mall.

Once nice, now pitiful mall.
Few nice stores, limited food service that is of mediocre quality. Restrooms aren't just dirty from a busy day but has a long term buildup of filth. There appears to be a good amount of loitering youth just hanging out Appears unsafe..
