QUICK PHOTO STOP
After visiting the Superman Statue on the town square I walked a couple of blocks north to the Daily Planet/Lois Lane Statue. This statue is in a small park and is a fitting tribute to Noel Neill who played a reporter for the Daily Planet Newspaper in the old Superman TV Show. The is free street parking next to the statue which make it either a quick stop after visiting the Superman Statue. But if you park at the Superman Statue it is an easy short 2-3 block walk away. This is a nice quick stop in the small town Metropolis.

The First Lady Of Metropolis
As a fan of The Adventures Of Superman, I had always wanted to meet Noel Neil, the actress who played Lois Lane. Sadly she passed before I could realize that dream. I am glad to see that there is as least a statue of the First Lady of Metropolis that pays tribute to a wonderful actress that loved the show as much as her fans. The statue is a must see for fans of Superman.

Nice tribute to Noel Neill
This statue felt nicer to me than the Superman statue everyone sees in Metropolis. It is a tribute not to Lois Lane, I feel, but to the actress who very generously gave her time to the town and the franchise. The Daily Planet logo also is here on display. Touching.
