Funeral memorial luncheon
We went to the Meeting Room building for my Uncle’s funeral memorial luncheon. Easily held 80-90 people. Good accommodation and the gal that was watching over the room was very helpful, cleaning up plates periodically and helping out nicely. The stage could handle plenty of food, and there was a nice big basement to handle the overflow. (I’m not sure if that room was part of the deal or not.). Parking was perfect since the high school parking lot was right across the street. Would love to come back to spend more time at the Settlement.

Nice place to go back in time
We visited Naper Settlement and it was lovely. Everybody working there is so friendly. We especially liked the blacksmith who explained what a blacksmith did in the beginning of the last age. The lady at the entree was very friendly too. Nice to see all the old houses, school etc.

Family time
No teenagers...my kids are over 18 and we were Looking for something to do and glad we found this hidden gem. Everyone was welcoming. My only complaint is that we couldn't see upstairs of the mansion or some of the buildings on the guided walking tour. The tour was very informative and the blacksmith was fun and knowledgeable.
